Socratic Seminar Makeup

If you miss a Socratic Seminar, you need to: (1) write your five questions, (2) fill out the SCASI notes with details from those chapters, and (3) answer your questions on a separate sheet of paper. Completing this will excuse your grade for that seminar, and your other 2 seminars will count 1.5x each. You may not drop more than one seminar grade.

This alternate assignment also applies to anyone who attended all three seminars who would like to drop their lowest seminar grade: resubmit your graded handout with the questions answered.

If you miss two Socratic Seminars, you need to do this alternate assignment to replace the second one: in 300-400 words, discuss the ways in which C.P. Cavafy's "Ithaka" addresses some significant theme/idea in All the Pretty Horses. Use text evidence from both texts in your analysis.
